Surat : Police have achieved great success in Surat, Gujarat. Here the police have seized fake notes worth crores of rupees. Superintendent of Police Hitesh Joysar gave this information. Acting on information, Surat’s Kamrej police stopped an ambulance on the Ahmedabad-Mumbai road, he said. After this, the police searched the ambulance and when the vehicle was inspected, 1290 packets of fake currency notes of Rs 2000 were found in six boxes. The police interrogated the driver and seized the notes.
SP Rural Hitesh Joysar further informed that after looking closely at the notes, it was found that instead of Reserve Bank, Rivers Bank of India was written. At the same time, bank officials and FSL team have been called. Also, a case has been registered and the police investigation is going on.

1.24 crore found in Hyderabad
