Headed by Assistant Commissioner, Delhi Police has formed 210 teams, Income Tax Department has also formed 165 teams and 33 teams of Delhi Pollution Control Committee are also to be deployed.

How long will the ban last?

The government has once again imposed a complete ban on firecrackers in September. Everything from selling to cutting was banned. This order will continue till January 1 next year. This step is being taken by the Kejriwal government to control the pollution continuously for the last two years. The Supreme Court has also expressed displeasure on bursting firecrackers from its side.
