New Delhi: Her boyfriend Aftab Amin Poonawala, the accused in the Shraddha Walker murder case that shook the entire country, has finally confessed to his crime. After Aftab’s arrest, he tried to mislead the police during Tapas. However, he finally had to give in to a question from the police. Aftab finally had to confess his crime.

When the Delhi Police started investigating, Aftab had told the police that Shraddha had left the house after an argument on May 22 (Shraddha was murdered on May 18). He said she only kept her phone with her and left her belongings at his flat. However, the truth came out when the police checked his call records and traced his location.

According to sources, Aftab’s brass was exposed, he had earlier said that Shraddha was not in touch after May 22. The police got information that the location of the bank transfer that took place on May 26 was also within the limits of Mehrauli Police Station. Sachin Sanap, the police officer involved in the investigation, asked Aftab that when did you meet her again after that? Aftab replied that Shraddha had returned on June 12 to collect her clothes. The officer then asked if Shraddha had taken her phone.

Sachin Sanap told Aftab that Shraddha’s phone location is visible till May 26 at your house in Chhattarpur. Then why is it showing her location as home if she took the phone and if she kept the mobile at home then it never left the house? Sachin Sanap then said to him, friend you are now deceived, accept your crime or you will die now.

This is how the love story started

When Aftab and Shraddha initially got into a relationship, Shraddha used to work at Decathlon’s call center in Malad. Aftab also joined the same call center after some time and started working there. Aftab left his job there after working for some time and Shraddha was working there. All this was before the lockdown. After that, Shraddha and Aftab lived together for many years and quarreled between them. Then in May, Aftab brutally murdered Shraddha and dismembered her body into 35 pieces and dumped it in the forest.
