From Dehradun: Sachin Kothari of Dehradun decided to quit his good job and start a business. He worked hard for it and he succeeded. Today, he earns Rs 30 lakh a year from that business. Which he would not have been able to do in any simple corporate job. Sachin’s entire life revolved around his laptop. Between 2008 and 2011, he changed four jobs in Delhi, got a good pay rise but the situation did not change. He did not like the stress of corporate job. The laptop screen in front of the eyes, but the green on the mountain in the mind. One day he finally made up his mind and left his job and returned home. His decision turned out to be the right one and today he is doing what he loves and earning more than he could have done in the job.

Seeing a relative, Sachin came up with the idea of ​​opening a nursery in Dehradun. While working, Sachin had researched the options of opening a nursery. He took the help of a friend of his who owned land. After this, both of them decided to invest 6 lakh rupees in the nursery.

Half savings and some borrowed money from father

Sachin had savings of one and a half lakh rupees and borrowed the same amount from his father. His friend gave 3 lakhs on his behalf. Thus in 2012 he resigned from his job and started a nursery. It was named as ‘Devbhumi Nursery’. It did not start as expected. Despite many attempts, the trees were infested with insects and most of them died.

Mitra lost heart, but Sachin did not stop

This discouraged his friend who became his business partner and he decided to withdraw. Now Sachin was alone. His family told him that he should find a good job for himself now, but Sachin did not agree.

For the next three years till 2015, he was busy re-opening the nursery. He learned gardening from other experts, learning the ins and outs of nursery care from YouTube. Guided by a relative. After this, he started a nursery by renting land at a distance of 15 km from the city. However, today they have their own land of 1500 square feet.

20 types of flowers, vegetable trees too

Gradually his nursery started. It has about 20 types of different flowers. Apart from this, broccoli, tomato, bok choy, eggplant, flower plants are also planted in it. He earns around Rs 30 lakh every year from its sale. Its trees are in demand as far as Saharanpur, Ghaziabad, Chandigarh, Delhi, Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Amritsar. Today he is happy that he has his mind, wealth, health and peace of mind. He still believes that his decision to quit was the right one.
