A patient died due to diesel in Rajasthan’s Banswad. While the ambulance was leaving for the hospital with the patient, it ran out of diesel on the way. After this, the patient’s family tried to restart the ambulance by pushing it. But the ambulance could not start as the fuel was completely exhausted. After many attempts, the patient was taken to the hospital.

Relatives took the patient to Kasambam District Hospital. But by then the patient had died. The family alleges that our family member was killed due to the laxity of the government and administration. Cabinet Minister in the State Government P. S. Khachariavas, however, struck a different tone. Our government has arranged free treatment in private hospitals. If a patient dies due to running out of fuel in the ambulance, the hospital management is responsible for it. He said that there is no fault of the system. He promised strict action against those responsible for the death.
