Hindu Sena activists fell to pieces on Aftab’s car, wounded by swords

New Delhi: An attempt was made to attack Aftab Amin Poonawala, the accused in the Shraddha Walker murder case that shook the entire country, in Delhi on Monday. At present, polygraph test of Aftab is going on by Delhi Police. For this, Aftab was taken to a lab in Rohini area for a polygraph test. After this test, Aftab was again taken towards the jail. While he was being taken to the jail in a police car, suddenly Hindu Sena workers came there. They had swords in their hands. With the help of these swords, Hindu Sena workers attacked Aftab’s car. Several wounds were inflicted on the police vehicle with the help of swords. However, there is no information about Aftab being injured in this yet. At this time, the police tried to disperse the Hindu Sena workers. Hindu Sena activists also tried to enter the police car by opening the door. However, the attackers could not reach Aftab due to the iron fences. Seeing the aggressive attitude of the Hindu Sena workers, a police officer took out his revolver and fired in the air.

Aftab’s life was narrowly saved due to police vigilance. After this, the Delhi Police took swift action and detained the Hindu Sena workers. Swords were also seized from them. At this time, the attackers interacted with the media. Then the attackers reacted very angrily. They are oppressing our mothers and sisters. Delhi Police is taking special care of Aftab’s security even in custody. He is lodged in Jail No. 4 of Tihar Jail. Aftab is being monitored continuously and according to sources he has been put on ‘suicide watch’. Aftab is currently being subjected to a polygraph test by the police to find out exactly how he killed Shraddha. However, Aftab does not answer many of the questions asked during the polygraph test. It has been reported that Aftab does not utter a single word about Shraddha even while talking to the inmates of the jail. Police suspect that Aftab is doing all these things deliberately.
