Maria Mir, her husband Syed Saifuddin Javed, her Deer and a relative were traveling on a two-wheeler when they had an argument with the driver of the Mercedes car concerned. They had slowed down their bike near the flowing sewage, but the luxury car followed them and splashed the muddy water in the ditch on the four of them.
Enraged by this, the two bikers questioned the car driver, but instead of slowing down the car, he hit the bike. At this time, Saifuddin, who was on another bike with his wife Maria, tried to stop the car from escaping, but the driver rammed the Mercedes onto their bike.
In this, four people on both bikes were injured. He was admitted to the hospital. But the incident came to light on Wednesday after the injured woman, Maria Mir, died during treatment at the hospital.
Based on Saifuddin’s complaint, police registered a case against car driver Rajasimha Reddy (26 years). Reddy, a resident of Jubilee Hills, was earlier booked under Section 307 (attempt to murder). But after the death of Maria, a case has been registered under section 302 (murder).

According to the police, Reddy, a real estate businessman, was driving a car owned by a relative. “He did it deliberately, as a result of which the couple fell off the bike. Unfortunately, Maria suffered a head injury. It bled profusely. She was shifted to a local private hospital, but died on December 20 while undergoing treatment,” said Raidurgam Police Inspector M Mahesh.
