New Delhi : Earthquake tremors were felt in many parts of the country including Delhi-NCR and Lucknow. Its intensity has been measured as 6.6 on the Richter scale and the epicenter of the earthquake is said to be Afghanistan. Earthquake tremors were felt for a long time. People came out of their houses in fear after the tremors of the earthquake were felt. From the fans to the lights and other things in the house were also moving fast. Apart from Delhi-NCR, earthquake tremors were felt in many parts of the country including Lucknow, Jammu and Kashmir, Panchkula and Chandigarh.

Strong tremors were felt in North India including Delhi-NCR. The people sitting in the house were scared by the shock of the earthquake that happened around 10:30. According to Reuters news agency, the magnitude of the earthquake in Afghanistan was 6.8 on the Richter scale. Similarly, the shocks of this earthquake were also felt in Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar in Pakistan, reported ARY News.

Meanwhile, there were no reports of any loss of life or damage due to the tremors.
