Good news against corona: First indigenous vaccine ‘Kovacin’ approved

New Delhi: The countrymen got the good news about Corona vaccine on the second day of the new year. The committee of experts has recommended the approval of the first-ever indigenous vaccine for emergency use. According to sources, the recommendation was made by the Central Drug Standards Control Organization (CDSCO). It is recommended to approve the use of covacin by Bharat Biotech.

Earlier, on the first day of the year, January 1, Oxford University and AstraZeneca’s Covid vaccine Covishield, developed by Oxford University and AstraZeneca, were allowed to be used in emergency situations in India. The Covishield vaccine will be administered by the Indian vaccine manufacturer Serum Institute of India (SII).
