The SEC had on Friday recommended the emergency use of Oxford-AstraZeneca’s Corona antiviral vaccine Covishield in India. The health ministry said the approval was recommended in the wider public interest. According to sources, the pharmaceutical company will continue testing its third phase vaccine. The vaccine has the potential to destroy the virus, the committee said.
