Sanitizer was thrown on the body of the journalist and he was burnt alive. Three persons were arrested

Lucknow: The number of brutal crimes in Uttar Pradesh is on the rise. Recently, a journalist and his friend were burnt alive in the house of a journalist. Three accused have been arrested in the case.

According to Uttar Pradesh police, a journalist was burnt alive on November 27 in Balrampur district, about 160 km from the capital Lucknow. The 37-year-old journalist and his friend were set on fire by throwing sanitizer on the villagers. Two motives emerged in the police investigation into the murder case.

Journalist Rakesh Singh Nirbhik was working for a Lucknow-based newspaper. On November 27, the burnt bodies of Rakesh and his 34-year-old friend Pintu were found in a house in Kevalari village in Balrampur district. Pintu was pronounced dead at the scene before police arrived. However, the police rushed Rakesh to the hospital. Rakesh also died within hours of reaching the hospital.

In his reply before his death, Rakesh, a journalist, informed the police about the attack on him. He said the attack was carried out after writing against the corruption committed by the local sarpanch and his son. According to Balrampur Superintendent of Police Devaranjan Verma, the issue of private enmity also came to the fore after the police contacted several.

According to police, Rinku Mishra, the sarpanch’s son, threw an alcoholic hand sanitizer on his body and set Rakesh and his friend Pintu on fire.

Two motives for the murder

Journalist Rakesh Singh Nirbhik had written against the corruption of the sarpanch and his son. On the other hand, Rakesh’s friend Pintu had sold one of his vehicles to accused Lalit Mishra. But, the controversy started with his money. There was also a fight between Lalit and Pintu in a beer bar. After this, Pintu did it at Rakesh’s house.

On the other hand, accused Lalit took the help of another accused Akram. On this day, accused Rinku called journalist Rakesh several times. Rinku then entered Rakesh’s house.

Rinku gave alcohol to the journalist and his friend Pintu. Akram and Lalit then entered Rakesh’s house. The door of Rakesh’s house was then closed. Rinku, Lalit and Akram threw sanitizer on the journalist and his friend and set them on fire at home.
