Triangular and Republic Day insults unfortunate: President Kovind

New Delhi: The budget session of Parliament has started from today. At the beginning of the session, President Ramnath Kovind addressed a joint sitting of both the Houses of Parliament. Opposition groups called for a boycott of the presidential address.

The Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme has also benefited small farmers in the country. Under this scheme, instead of premium of Rs 17,000 crore in the last five years, farmers have received around Rs 90,000 crore as compensation: President Ramnath Kovind
