- West Bengal Assembly Election 2021 is in full swing
- Today I hear the voice of the inner soul: Dinesh Trivedi
- ‘But what are we going to do, we also have party restrictions’
This incident took place directly in the Rajya Sabha during the 2021 Assembly elections in West Bengal and the ground under the feet of the party shifted. Dinesh Trivedi, a senior Trinamool Congress leader, announced his resignation during the Rajya Sabha session.
‘There comes a time in every person’s life when he hears the voice of his inner soul. Mr. Chairman, a similar time has come in my life today. I am thankful to my party who sent me here. But now I’m crouching here. There is nothing we can do when atrocities begin there. So my inner voice is telling you to sit here quietly and if you can’t say anything then resignation is the best way ‘, said Dinesh Trivedi in his resignation.
‘We come from a place where people like Rabindranath Tagore, Subhash Chandra Bose and Khudiram Bose come. But, seeing the way violence is happening in our province, I find it strange to sit here. I’m having a hard time seeing this. But whatever we do, we also have party obligations. Sitting here, I was wondering why we get into politics. Trivedi said that he was resigning from the party as he was disappointed to say that he comes for the country because the country is the best for him.
The world saw the way in which Hindustan moved forward during the Corona transition. Everyone came together and faced this, but it was led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying that his Trivedi was seen in Parliament praising the Prime Minister.
