Rajasthan: Gang-rape of a girl who went to fetch drugs

Dhaulpur: Incidents of atrocities against women are on the rise in Rajasthan. A similar shocking incident has taken place within the limits of Rajakheda police station in Dholpur. A 16-year-old girl was raped by four youths from a village here. The incident has caused a stir in the area.

According to the information received, the victim and the accused are from the same village. A case has been registered with the police in this regard. The shocking incident took place on February 12. According to police, the minor girl had gone to a shop in the area around 9.30 pm due to stomach ache. The owner and three others were already huddled in the shop. They lured the girl into the shop. The four then gang-raped her.

The police have registered a case based on the information received. Police squads have been deployed to nab the accused. Raids are being carried out at various places. The accused will be arrested soon, police said.
