Four people infected with the corona in South Africa were found in India in January. In the first week of February, a patient infected with coronavirus in Brazil was found, the central government said on Tuesday.

Four people who returned to India have been diagnosed with coronavirus in South Africa. Two infected people had returned from South Africa. So one each had returned from Angola and Tanzania. All the passengers and their contact citizens have been examined and kept in isolation, said Balram Bhargava, Director General, ICMR.

ICMR-NIV is trying to collect other information by isolating the South African type from the samples of 4 infected patients. A man returning from Brazil has been diagnosed with coronavirus in Brazil in the first week of February.

Will South Africa, Brazil stop flights?

India canceled all flights to the UK in December last year after a new variant of the corona was discovered in Britain. Now that Corona patients from South Africa and Brazil have been found in India, will flights to these countries be stopped? Such a question was presented. But at present, there is no intention to stop flights to these countries, the health ministry said.
