Corona Vaccination: In the second phase, who will get the vaccine for free, who will pay?

New Delhi: Vaccination of corona warriors is underway in the first phase against the backdrop of corona infection across the country. Soon after this, in the second phase, corona vaccine will be given to people aged 50 years and above.

The number of people over the age of 50 in the country is said to be around 27 crores. These elderly people will be vaccinated against corona in the second phase. Of these, priority will be given to persons above 60 years of age for vaccination.

Not everyone will get the vaccine for free

In the second phase, the citizens will be divided into two groups. One group will receive the corona vaccine free of charge, while the other group will have to pay for the vaccination. Beneficiaries registering for the vaccination will need to check to see if they will get the Corona vaccine for free or will have to pay. The government will decide which group will be vaccinated free of cost.

According to government sources, in the second phase, who will get the vaccine for free and who will not? Detailed information about this will be released soon. In this phase, people will be able to get vaccinated in their home state as well as other states.

A nationwide vaccination campaign against corona was launched on January 16. This is the largest vaccination campaign in the world. In the first phase, health workers and frontline workers were vaccinated against corona.
