Kerala: ‘Metroman’ E Sreedharan officially joins BJP

Malappuram, Kerala: Kerala Assembly election dates are likely to be announced soon. Earlier, E Sreedharan, popularly known as the ‘Metroman’ of the country, had officially joined the BJP.

The BJP is trying to attract many famous faces in the run-up to the elections. A few days back, the BJP had announced that E Sreedharan would join the BJP. Later on Thursday, E Sreedharan officially joined the BJP during a rally in the presence of Union Minister RK Singh in Malappuram.

‘Padma Vibhushan E Sreedharan has officially joined the BJP during the Kerala Vijay Yatra in the presence of Union Minister RK Singh. Only people like Metroman are convinced that only BJP can develop the state, ‘said BJP Kerala president K Surendran on Twitter.

Earlier, E Sreedharan had said that he was ready to take over as the Chief Minister of Kerala and had openly expressed his desire to take over the administration.

E Sreedharan was instrumental in the successful implementation of the Delhi Metro scheme. They are famous for their work and hard work. Apart from the Delhi Metro, Sreedharan’s contribution to the Kolkata Metro, Cochin Metro and other metro projects in the country has been invaluable. This is why he is known as ‘Metroman’.
