New Delhi: The second phase of Covid 19 vaccination has started from today. The general public will also be able to get the corona vaccine. In the second phase of vaccination, people above 60 years of age will be vaccinated. Also, people over 45 years of age who are suffering from serious illness will be vaccinated. For this, from 9.00 am today, the citizens have been opened to register on the mobile application or website CoWIN.

A manual has also been released by the government for registration and setting of time on Co-Win. The CoWIN 2.0 portal is open to the public today. Citizens can register their name or the names of senior members of their family by visiting cowin.gov.in.

If some senior citizens are having difficulty in registering their names, such persons can go directly to the vaccination center. Registration facility will be available here. The second dose will be given 28 days after the first dose.

More than 10,000 private hospitals under Ayushman Bharat PMJAY, more than 600 hospitals under CGHS and other private hospitals have been identified as vaccination centers under government scheme.

Corona vaccine will be provided free of cost in government hospitals. Private hospitals are allowed to charge Rs 250 per dose of Covid 19 vaccine. The second phase of corona vaccination will continue for six weeks. Eligible beneficiaries can choose the center as per their convenience. They can also choose the time for vaccination according to the time available.

If people between the ages of 45 and 59 are facing serious illnesses, they will also be vaccinated against corona. For example, people who have been hospitalized for a heart attack in the past year may be able to participate in the vaccination.
