Indian Railways has now issued 139 (Indian railway helpline number) instead of all available helpline numbers. This will make it easier for passengers to remember the number and contact the railways.
Passengers will now be able to lodge all information and complaints on the helpline number 139. Divisional Railway Boards will no longer issue any helpline number other than 139. The new number will provide integrated services using railway facilities. You can now dial 139 for services, safety, complaints, food and alerts. As soon as this number starts, all previous helpline numbers will be closed.
