‘Farmers are not opposed to agricultural laws, opponents are provoking them’

New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Choudhary has accused the farmers of inciting protests against the farm laws. “Farmers should understand how politics is done on this issue and those who work for political gain should not fall prey to it,” Chaudhary said.

The government has made it clear that the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for agricultural commodities is and will remain. We can also give this in writing to the farmers. But the Congress-ruled state governments and the opposition are provoking the farmers. Farmers in the country are on the side of these laws. But some people are provoking them. I am sure that the farmers of the country will not do anything that will endanger the peace of the country. Due to these laws, farmers have got freedom, said Union Minister of State for Agriculture Chaudhary.

We have faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the farmers. Farmers will never decide that there will be unrest in the country. New agricultural laws have given freedom to farmers.
