A case has been registered against an unidentified person who stopped a vehicle carrying an EVM. An FIR has been registered against him. Further investigation is underway. The EVM was not damaged in the attack. The EVM is in the possession of the administration, sources said, according to ANI.

What’s in a viral video?
The EVM appears in a white jeep (No. AS 10B 0022). Some people are saying in the video that this jeep belongs to Krishnendu Paul. Later, Congress MPs Pradyut Borodalai and Gaurav Gogoi tweeted that the BJP had hijacked the EVM.
This viral video was shared by many including Congress leaders Priyanka Gandhi and Shashi Tharoor. Every time such videos come up. In which EVMs are caught carrying in private vehicles. These trains are associated with BJP candidates. But then it is rejected as a lie, tweeted Priyanka Gandhi.
