New Delhi: The number of corona patients in the country is increasing rapidly. More than three and a half lakh new patients have been registered, according to the health ministry on Monday morning. This has led the central government to focus on the coronavirus vaccine. From May 1, all citizens above 18 years of age will be vaccinated in the country. The Serum Institute then announced rates for its covishield vaccine for states and the open market. The rate was fixed at Rs 400 per dose for states and Rs 600 per dose for private hospitals.

After the Serum Institute announced the rates of covachield vaccine on corona, Bharat Biotech also announced the rates of covaxin vaccine, which is almost the same as serum. Bharat Biotech has announced the rates for its covacin vaccine and if the state government wants to buy the vaccine, it will have to pay Rs 600 for each dose. At the same time, the rate for private hospitals in the open market will be Rs 1,200 per dose. The price of exported vaccine will be ते 15 to २० 20 per dose (about Rs 1,123 to Rs 1,498).

Sources said that the Center has now instructed the Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech to reduce their vaccine rates following allegations of vaccine rates. From May 1, all citizens above the age of 18 will be vaccinated to speed up the corona vaccination campaign in the country. In such a scenario, Serum Institute and Bharat Biotech should reduce their vaccine rates, the sources said.
