New Delhi: The number of coronavirus patients in the country is increasing day by day (india coronavirus). This is making the situation worse. The central government has expressed concern that the outbreak has not been contained. Now the Union Home Ministry has issued new coronavirus guidelines to the states. It provides instructions for setting up lockdowns and setting up containment zones. State governments should enforce restrictions on citizens. In areas where the corona positivity rate is more than 10 per cent for a week and hospital beds are more than 60 per cent full, a 14-day strict lockdown should be declared, the Center said.

The central government has asked the states to set up small containment zones in the districts. Large containment zones should be avoided. If necessary, this step should be taken only after a thorough verification. Determine first how many citizens have been infected and how many areas should be closed. Create a manual before the lockdown. This will help in fulfilling the purpose of lockdown, the Center has told the states.

The Centre’s guidelines are as follows …

> The local administration should be allowed to fix the period of curfew. All traffic except essentials should be completely closed during the night curfew

> Prohibit crowded events such as social, political, leisure, entertainment, education, cultural, religious and festivals

> Preventing coronary heart disease can be prevented only by preventing citizens from visiting

> 50 citizens should be allowed in wedding ceremonies and 20 at funerals

> Ban on shopping complexes, cinemas, restaurants-bars, sports complexes, gyms, spas, swimming pools and places of worship

> Only essential services in the public and private sectors should be continued
