Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Union Territory of Puducherry have announced a complete lockdown from May 10 to curb the rise in corona. This lockdown will be effective till May 24. The lockdown has started from Friday evening in Karnataka and from Saturday morning in Kerala. Now the lockdown has also increased in Delhi and UP.

The metro will also be closed at this time. Due to unavailability, lockdown had to be declared from April 20. On April 26, the positivity rate had gone up to 35 per cent. After that the number of patients began to decrease. In the last two to three days, the positivity rate has come down to 23 per cent. With his support, an attempt was made to increase health facilities during the lockdown, Kejriwal said.
