Kolkata / New Delhi: The Union Home Ministry has taken a big decision regarding the security of BJP MLAs in West Bengal. The home ministry has decided to provide security to all BJP MLAs in West Bengal. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commandos will be deployed for the security of BJP MLAs, official sources said.
The decision was taken by the Home Ministry in response to a report by the Union Security Council and a team of high-ranking officials sent by the ministry in the wake of post-election violence against BJP workers, official sources said. PTI has given this news.

X level security for 61 MLAs

As per the Home Ministry order, 61 MLAs will be given at least ‘X’ level security and CISF commandos will be deployed. All the remaining MLAs have already been given central security or high ‘Y’ level security. Opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari has already been given ‘Z’ grade security by CRPF personnel.

BJP won 77 seats and became the main opposition party

The BJP has emerged as the main opposition party, winning 77 out of 292 seats in the West Bengal Assembly elections. On the other hand, Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress has won 213 seats and secured power for the third time.

Union ministers were attacked in Bengal

A few days ago, Union Minister V. Muralitharan’s convoy was attacked. A team of Union Ministers had arrived in the state to find out about the ongoing violence in the state after the elections. The minister’s vehicle was vandalized in the attack. Muralitharan had alleged that the attack was carried out by Trinamool Congress workers. He also shared a video of the attack on social media.
