The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to set up Guardian Special Booths at Corona Vaccination Centers in every district. Parents whose children are below 12 years of age will be given priority at the vaccination booth.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered preparations to start ‘Palak Special Booths’ in every district. The Chief Minister has directed to contact the parents of children below 12 years of age at home and encourage them to participate in the vaccination campaign.
To protect children in the third wave of corona infection, it has been decided to set up 50 to 100 beds in each major city. These beds will be used for babies older than one month. The length and width of the bed should be small and the side railings should be installed. Oxygen and treatment will be provided to the critically ill children here.
The states have been warned by the central government to prevent the spread of the disease among children.
