Hurricane threat threatens 25 more trains

New Delhi: The Indian Railways has decided to cancel some trains in the wake of Cyclone Yas, which is set to hit eastern India soon. Eastern Railway has announced cancellation of 25 trains running between May 24 and May 29. The railway administration has made this announcement through social media. This includes some trains from Bihar.

Earlier, Indian Railways had canceled a total of 86 trains due to cyclone threat. This includes several trains from Delhi to Puri, Bhubaneswar to Yesvantpur running from May 23 to May 28.

Director General of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Dr. According to Mrityunjay Mohapatra, the mild pressure area seen in the Bay of Bengal in the east on Saturday morning has slightly increased its pressure on Sunday. At this time the wind speed can be 155 to 165 kilometers per hour. It can go up to 185 km per hour. Experts have expressed the possibility of huge losses due to this.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a meeting with state and central ministry officials, took stock of the preparations for the cyclone.
