BJP is the only national party in the country in the true sense of the word, Jitin Prasad’s reaction after joining the party

Lucknow: Veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Jitin Prasad has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party today. Jitin Prasad entered the BJP headquarters in the presence of Union Minister Piyush Goyal. This time, while thanking the Congress, he also praised the BJP.

I have been close to the Congress for the last three generations. But, I have made this decision very carefully. The question of which party I left and joined the BJP is not today. So which party am I joining and why? This question is important, said Jitin Prasad while talking to reporters after joining BJP.

I have been realizing for the last 8-10 years that if there is a real institutional political letter in the country, it is BJP. Other parties belong to one person or region, but if there is any party in India in the name of national party, it is BJP, said Jitin Prasad.

I wondered what it means to be in a party that cannot protect the interests of its people, or work for them. There was nothing I could do in Congress. I thank all the people who have helped me in the Congress party for the last several years. However, from now on, I will work as a true BJP worker, assured Jitin Prasad.

Our country is facing many challenges today. Jitin Prasad also said that if any party and any leader has stood strong in the interest of the country in the face of these challenges, then that party is BJP and that person is Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
