Indore: IAS officer Santosh Verma has been arrested by Indore police in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He is accused of making fake documents and getting promotion. The court has remanded him in police custody till July 17. The judge was on leave on October 6, 2020, the day he gave the verdict in forged documents. A copy of the certificate was issued by the court on October 7. Santosh Verma had submitted a copy of the verdict on October 8 in Bhopal. False documents led to his exposure. He had said in the forged documents that the case against the woman who had allegedly cheated on him at the Lasudia police station has now been settled. His name was included in the promotion of IAS due to this certificate copy.
