Police have cordoned off the entire area following the murder. Senior police officials have arrived at the scene. Shivraj Paswan, who was injured in the attack, was immediately admitted to Katihar Medical College for treatment. There he was pronounced dead. It is said that three bullets penetrated his chest and he could not be saved. No information has been released by the police yet.
