New Delhi: CBI has arrested five people for posting defamatory content against judges on social media in Andhra Pradesh. Chief Justice of the Supreme Court N.S. V. The action was taken after Ramna hit him on Friday. Ramana had said that the CBI and IB were not taking any action on the complaints of threats against lower court judges. He was speaking during the hearing of the murder case of a district judge in Dhanbad.
The three accused had already been arrested in the ongoing probe into the alleged defamation post on social media against the judge and the judiciary. Now two more accused have been arrested. The CBI today arrested accused Pattapu Adarsh and Alvanuru Samba Shiv Reddy. Earlier, Dhami Reddy, Konta Reddy and Pamula Sudhir were arrested on July 28 last month. Lingareddy Rajasekhara Reddy was arrested on July 9 last month.

The CBI did nothing. We were expecting a change in the behavior of the CBI. But nothing like that happened. It is unfortunate to present such a situation, said Chief Justice Ramana. The Chief Justice had also sought a reply from the Center within a week on a pending demand on the issue of security of judges. The investigating agency does nothing to help. He is making this statement very responsibly. The Chief Justice had said that something should be done about this.
