Thirteen of the 14 people in the helicopter were killed in the Coonoor crash. Indian Air Force Group Captain Varun Singh is the only survivor of the accident. He is undergoing treatment at the Command Hospital in Bengaluru and the Prime Minister prayed for his recovery. Varun Singh is being treated by a team of expert doctors.
