Ashra Patel is a supermodel who dreams of becoming Sarpanch. Aishra, 34, is a well-known model. She had participated in Femina Miss India 2010 and had reached the finals. Besides, she has made her mark in many beauty pageants. She has also modeled for about 100 brands. However, now she is obsessed with the development of her village and has entered the election arena directly.

Kavitha is a village of Ashra in Sankheda taluka of Chota Udaipur district. There, the Sarpanchpada is reserved for women and Ashra is fighting for the seat. Ashra shared her feelings. ‘I stayed in the village for a long time during the lockdown. Meanwhile, many villagers fell victim to the corona. They didn’t even have money for treatment. They didn’t even know much about the infection. That’s when I helped the needy. Most of the villagers in my village are farmers. Every day they face new problems. I sincerely want to do something for them and for my village and that is why I have decided to contest. I know that only when the village develops will the people of the village develop and I am moving in that direction ‘, said Aishra. I traveled to many countries. Saw a lot of progress. “I want to bring this development to my village and I am asking for the support of the villagers for this,” he said. The person who is currently the Sarpanch has not done anything for the village. “There is zero planning,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ashra has a political legacy. Her father Narhari Patel has been the Sarpanch of the village twice from 1989 to 1994 and from 2012 to 2017. He is a member of BJP.
