Center gives ‘Y’ security to Vivek Agnihotri, director of ‘The Kashmir Files’

News Agency, New Delhi: Vivek Agnihotri, the director of the recently released film ‘The Kashmir Files’, has been given ‘Y’ category protection. Under the ‘Y’ category security, Agnihotri of seven to eight Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commandos will have 24-hour protection.

The film ‘Kashmir Files’ directed by Agnihotri is based on Kashmiri Pandits fleeing Kashmir due to terrorism. Given the sensitive nature of the film, the film director has been given the third highest security in the country. Agnihotri has taken this step after claiming that his life was in danger due to the release of his film.
