Ranchi: Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s health has deteriorated. Doctors at RIMs have advised Lalu Prasad to be admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi for further treatment.

Lalu Prasad Yadav is currently lodged in jail in the fodder scam case. His condition is critical and he will be admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi today. Director of RIMs Kameshwar Prasad informed the media about his condition. The medical board has advised Lalu Prasad Yadav to be admitted to the AIIMS in Delhi for further treatment after a medical examination, he said.

Meanwhile, Lalu Prasad Yadav is currently in the paying ward of Reims. According to doctors, Yadav is suffering from kidney failure. Dialysis is required. He has 80 percent kidney failure.

Lalu Prasad Yadav is serving his sentence in the most talked about fodder scam case. He was sentenced to five years in prison and fined Rs 60 lakh. He had challenged the decision in court. The bail plea filed by Yadav was heard in the Ranchi High Court on March 11. The next hearing on the petition will be held on April 1.
