VIP entry closed in Kedarnath; Now we have to take darshan as usual

Uttarakhand The doors of Kedarnath Dham have been opened for devotees on 6th May. Against this background, the administration has taken an important decision. All VIPs will now be able to visit as usual. (kedarnath vip darshan)

As per the order issued by the DGP on Friday, all VIPs will now be able to visit as usual. Only two hours will be given for this. Earlier, 28 people had died due to lack of proper planning. Therefore, this year the administration has planned by enforcing strict rules.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami has also made an important appeal to the people. Those who have any health related complaints should visit Kedarnath in a few days.

Millions of devotees performed darshan in 6 days

The Kedarnath Yatra was closed for the last two years due to Karona. The doors of the temple have been opened for the devotees after almost two years. In the last 6 days, about 1 lakh 30 thousand people visited. That is why the VIP queues have been closed by the administration.

Earlier, many people had died due to lack of proper planning by the administration. Eleven patients were airlifted from Rudraprayag to another place. The situation was so dire that the police even charged with batons. Apart from Kedarnath, Badrinath and Yamunotri areas also lacked planning.

According to the information given by the District Collector, devotees who have come for Kedarnath Yatra will now be able to stand in a line and pay obeisance. Also, devotees standing in line will get only two hours.
