ED has arrested Satyendra Jain on May 30 in a money laundering case. The ED on Monday raided places belonging to Satyendra Jain and his close associates. The ED has also raided the locations of hawala operators. About Rs 3 crore has been seized from the house of Satyendra Jain’s close associate.
Satyendra Jain was produced in court after being arrested by the ED in a money laundering case. The court had remanded Satyendra Jain in ED custody till June 9.

After the arrest of Satyendra Jain, New Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi. New Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has been accused by the ED of laundering Rs 4.81 crore. The ED had alleged that Satyendra Jain had laundered money during 2015-16. The ED has taken action against Jain for allegedly investing air in anonymous companies in Kolkata. Satyendra Jain, who was arrested by the ED, is believed to be close to Arvind Kejriwal. Arvind Kejriwal has given him the health department. The CBI has already taken action against Satyendra Jain.
