Sharad Pawar avoids speaking, but both Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi are in the fray for Sanjay Raut

New Delhi: NCP chief Sharad Pawar has remained silent on the arrest and action of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, who is currently in ED custody in the letter case. Even after four days of Sanjay Raut’s arrest, Sharad Pawar has neither given his reaction to the media nor on social media. Therefore, the question arises as to why Raut, who is considered to be close to Sharad Pawar, is silent even after ED has taken such a big action. On the other hand, even though Sharad Pawar has remained silent, Sanjay Raut is getting support from Delhi. After Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has also entered the fray for Raut.

On the same day that Sanjay Raut was arrested, Rahul Gandhi had tweeted and condemned the incident. Today, Priyanka Gandhi tweeted her support for Sanjay Raut and criticized the BJP. Priyanka Gandhi has expressed her fury over the ED’s action against Sanjay Raut, saying that “BJP’s sole aim is to seize power and crush democracy through threats, fraud, fraud. Sanjay Raut is not afraid of BJP’s fraudulent politics, but his family has been attacked because he has defied BJP”.

There is no relief for Sanjay Raut

Court has not given any relief to Shiv Sena leader and MP Sanjay Raut, who is under arrest in the case of correspondence redevelopment and alleged scam in FSI. The court has extended his ED custody till August 8. Therefore, Sanjay Raut will have to spend four more days in ED custody.
