New Delhi: Farmers who are protesting against the new Farm Laws are not ready to back down. Various farmers’ organizations held a meeting at 2 pm today. Earlier, 30 farmers’ associations of Punjab also held a meeting at 11 am. After the afternoon meeting, the farmers held a press conference and attacked the central government. Yogendra Yadav, National President of Swaraj India, said that the agitation by the farmers against the new agricultural laws of the Center was a historic one. He also said that this is a battle of farmers and power. He said the movement was an example for India’s democracy. He said that instead of asking questions to farmers today, the government should ask questions. This agitation is not only the agitation of some farmers of Punjab, but 30 farmers’ organizations are carrying out this agitation. Yogendra Yadav further said that farmers from many states of the country are protesting in their respective district headquarters.
