Watched Anushka’s movie 15 times, got a single lump on the head, finally poured 20 liters of petrol on her body and set her on fire.

Bangalore: A 23-year-old youth has committed suicide in a gruesome manner after watching South’s superstar actress Anushka Shetty’s Arundhati. This incident took place in Tumkaru district of Karnataka. Where this young man was copying the movie Arundhati. Arundhati is a Telugu horror film. Which the youth watched as many as 15 times. Watching this film on the youth had a very bad effect. He also left his education after 11th in the name of this film. The name of this young man is Renuka Prasad. His family said he was very bright in studies and always topped his class.

He became so addicted to this film that he even quit his studies. The family also forbade him to watch movies. But, he didn’t listen. The young man used to talk to his family about copying the film. However, the family tried hard to make him understand.

Poured 20 liters of petrol and set himself on fire

The young man tried to copy a scene from the movie. Just like the hero of the film, Renuka Prasad poured about 20 liters of petrol on her body and set herself on fire on the outskirts of the village on Wednesday. Some passers-by saw him burning and rushed him to the hospital. It was almost 60 percent burnt. He died the next day during treatment.

Kodigenhalli police have registered a case and started investigation into the incident. Renuka Prasad’s suicide has brought grief to her family.

He wanted to be reborn

According to his father, he wanted him to study well and have a good career. Unfortunately, his addiction to cinema took his life. In the Telugu superhit film ‘Arundhati’, the actress dies of her own will and is reincarnated to take revenge on her enemy. Inspired by this film, Renuka Prasad immolated himself as per his will, as he too wanted to be reborn.
