According to Madhya Pradesh Police, 1200 liters of liquor has been seized in the raid. Illicit liquor has been seized from the accused’s house and barrels buried in the ground. More than 400 liters of liquor were recovered from barrels buried in the ground.
Cases have been registered against 2,600 people so far in Madhya Pradesh government’s anti-drug campaign. Out of them, 2,500 people are reported to be in the illegal liquor business.
