Bhopal: Two Sakhya brothers who went for firefighter recruitment have died in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal. While running for the recruitment exam, his condition worsened. He died during treatment. The exact cause of his death has not been revealed yet. The names of deceased brothers are Rupendra, Ankit. Two siblings had a dream to join the army and serve the country. But the dream remained unfulfilled due to untimely death.

Rupendra and Ankit were preparing for joining the army for many days. Agnivir recruitment process started in Bhopal. To participate in it, the two brothers had gone to Bhopal from their village Diamhu. Rupendra participated in physical test and running competition on 29th October. But after running, his condition worsened. After running he fell unconscious. He was admitted to the hospital. From there his relatives took him to Baitul. He was admitted to a private hospital in Betul. He was treated. He breathed his last on the fifth day.

Like elder brother Rupendra, younger brother Ankit was also preparing for army recruitment. He was preparing for the recruitment process while staying in the NCC camp. He had cleared the ITI exam. Rupendra died on November 4. Before that, Ankit joined the army recruitment on 3rd November. Like his brother, his condition suddenly deteriorated. He collapsed after participating in a running competition. The family reached Baitul with him. From there he was taken to a private hospital in Nagpur. He struggled with death for four days. But he failed.

Both brothers have died in similar circumstances under similar circumstances. A mountain of grief has fallen on the family after the sudden death of two young children. Doctors could not understand the cause of Rupendra’s death. Dr. Rupendra, who treated him, informed that both his kidneys were damaged. Given by Yogesh Pandagre. Rupendra’s liver was swollen. His lungs were filled with water. Both the youngsters suffered from sickle cell anemia. But his autopsy was not done. Due to this, the exact cause of his death is not understood, Pandagre said.

Pandagre speculates that both the brothers may have been taking stamina-enhancing drugs for the recruitment exam to join the army. He expressed suspicion that he may have died due to overdose of this drug. Pandagre also said that the death may have been due to exhaustion and muscle pain while running. Blood samples of both the brothers have been sent to Delhi for testing.
