Kanpur: After killing his seven-year-old son, Naradham Baap slept near the body all night. The shocking incident has come to light in Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Police have arrested the accused.

The accused is identified as Alankar Srivastava and his wife Sarika has lodged a complaint with the police. On Sunday morning, Alankar woke up and told her that he had strangled the boy and killed him. She was shocked to hear this. She ran into the room. He then informed the relatives by phone. He reported the incident to the police.

Alankar killed the boy on Saturday night. He then slept next to his body overnight, Sarika told police. This incident has come as a big shock to her and her family. Their answers are being recorded, police said. Alankar’s job was gone a few months ago. He was then depressed. Meanwhile, police have registered a case of murder against Alankar on Sarika’s complaint. The couple has two daughters. The accused has confessed to the crime. The boy’s body has been sent to the hospital for autopsy. Further investigation is underway, police said.
