New Delhi: The condition of Congress is dire all over the country. Congress suffered a crushing defeat in Gujarat. Congress, which defeated the BJP by winning as many as 77 seats in the previous elections, has managed to win only 17 seats this year. Therefore, it is difficult for Congress to get the position of Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly. At least 10 percent of the seats must be won to get the post of Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Assembly. There are a total of 182 seats in Gujarat Legislative Assembly.

After losing Gujarat, Congress won power in Himachal Pradesh. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel worked as an inspector in Himachal Pradesh. Baghel’s performance in Chhattisgarh has been excellent. In 2018, the Congress government came to the state. Bhupesh Baghel became Chief Minister. Congress has defeated BJP in 5 by-elections held in the state in the last 4 years. The result of the by-election held in Bhanupratapur assembly constituency was announced yesterday. Savitri Mandavi of Congress won in it. Therefore, the number of Congress MLAs in the Legislative Assembly has reached 71. There are total 90 assembly seats in the state.
Quit BJP after being denied ticket; Went to Congress, no chance from there either; Good results in Himachal
BJP was badly defeated in the last assembly elections. BJP has not yet recovered from this defeat. So far, the state president has changed three times. Currently MP Arun Sav is the state president. But under his leadership, the party has not got any special performance yet. In Bhanupratappur, BJP nominated a person accused of rape. BJP was hit by it.

BJP’s coup, Congress’s bounce
Five by-elections have been held in Chhattisgarh so far. Congress won all these seats. After Dantewada, Chitrakot, Marwahi, Khairagarh, now Congress also won in Bhanupratappur. BJP has only 14 MLAs in the state. BJP’s problems are increasing due to continuous defeats. 3 in-charges have changed in 4 years. But BJP’s fate does not change.
Congress worried despite getting majority; Bada leader started to work, left for Chandigarh to avoid debacle
Soudan Singh was given the charge post after the defeat in the previous assembly elections. After that the responsibility was handed over to Anil Jain. Then D. Purandeshwari took up the instructions. Currently Om Mathur is holding the charge. But now BJP has to face defeat in Bhanupratappur. Assembly elections are due in the state next year. If BJP does this kind of performance, the election will be difficult.
