Room booked, couple plan to face death together, girlfriend backs off at ‘that’ moment, but…

Thiruvananthapuram : It is said that love is blind, but in love some decisions are made with eyes. Something similar happened to a loving couple who attempted suicide. They both decided to face death together, but the woman, horrified to see her lover dead, retreated and saved her life. This happened in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala.

A 31-year-old lover died in a couple’s suicide attempt, while a woman who vowed to take her last breath together saved her life when she backed down. Seeing the form of her lover, the woman’s hands and feet were cold.

Both checked into a hotel. On Monday night, after hearing the woman’s screams, hotel staff rushed to the couple’s room only to find the boyfriend strangled to a fan while the woman’s ear was bleeding. Soon the police reached the spot and she was taken to a local hospital, from where she was referred to the Kottayam Medical College Hospital.

According to the woman, both had decided to commit suicide together. For that, he booked a room in a hotel on Sunday. There they took some medicine, after which the boyfriend committed suicide by hanging himself, while the woman panicked and started screaming.

When the concerned woman, who lives in Delhi, did not return home, her relatives lodged a missing complaint with the local police station. An investigation has been started into this incident.
