The dispute between the ruling party and the governor has reached a climax. Trinamool’s letter to the President

We have requested the President to take appropriate action against the Governor as per Article 156-1 of the Constitution, ”Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Shekhar Roy told reporters. “If Dhankhad has anything to say, he can communicate in the way given by the constitution, not by tweeting or holding a press conference,” Roy said.
‘No elections in free environment’
“Elections cannot be held in a free and fair environment in West Bengal,” Governor Jagdeep Dhankhad alleged. “It is my duty to give people a chance to exercise their rights,” he said. “Elections cannot be held in a free and fair environment in the state,” Governor Dhankhad told reporters. While visiting the temple here, he spoke to reporters. ‘I have nothing to do with who people vote for. However, it is my duty to work for the people to exercise their voting right without any interference, ‘said Governor Dhankhad. He also appealed to the government to remain neutral during the April-May Assembly elections.
