New Delhi: Bilkis Bano, the face of the anti-Citizenship Research Act (CAA) and the National Civil Registration (NRC) movement and popularly known as ‘Shahinbagh Dadi’, has once again come under discussion. Bilkis Bano has decided to join the farmers’ movement. Today, Singh arrived at the border to join the farmers’ movement.

‘We are the children of farmers. Today we are going to support their opposition with the farmers. We are going to raise our voice too. The government should listen to us. We will do our best to help the farmers, ”said Bilkis Bano while talking to Times Now.

A video of Bilkis Bano has been going viral on social media since Monday. In the video, it was seen that Shahinbagh Dadi was present at an agitation place. Through the video, it was alleged that Bilkis Bano went to the farmers’ agitation site and questioned them.

Remarkably, the agitation is being carried out by the farmers against the agricultural laws passed by the Center. These agitating farmers are also getting support from home and abroad. Many celebrities from Punjab and Haryana have also expressed their support to the farmers. So some have actively participated in the movement.

Notably, Bilkis Bano was named in Times Magazine’s list of the 100 Most Influential People of 2020. Bilkis Bano’s role in the ongoing agitation against the Citizenship Reform Act was influential before the Corona transition. Even in the bitter cold, they were seen sitting in the agitation places in Delhi and the voices of the citizens who participated in the agitation were also heard.

Bilkis Bano is a resident of Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh. She is currently living in Delhi with her children. Her late husband was working in the fields. Notably, Bilkis Bano had not taken an active part in any political movement in her life before joining the movement against the Citizenship Reform Act. She spent her entire life as a housewife.
