New Delhi: Farmers protest against farm laws of the central government. Farmers are demanding repeal of agricultural laws. Farmers have been protesting on the Delhi border for the last six days. Meanwhile, discussions took place on Tuesday between the government and farmer leaders. The meeting began at three in the afternoon and ended at about seven in the evening.

The government tried to persuade the farmers. But they are still adamant about their demands. Eat a pill or take a peaceful settlement. “We will definitely get something from the government,” the farmers’ leaders said after the meeting.

Leaders of the central government and farmers’ unions met on Tuesday to discuss agricultural laws. The meeting, which lasted about four hours, was unsuccessful. The meeting was held at Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, December 3 at 12 noon. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that today’s meeting with farmers’ leaders was positive.
