Shivpuri: Relatives of Suresh Dhakad Rathkheda, Minister of State in the Madhya Pradesh government and MLA from Pohari Assembly constituency, have been charged with aggravated assault on a Dalit family. The victim’s family alleges that in the recent Assembly by-elections (MP Bypoll), relatives of the minister were pressuring us to vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party. But we did not vote for BJP but for Bahujan Samaj Party. Because of this, the relatives of the minister were constantly putting pressure on us. After this, now the relatives of these ministers have beaten us, alleges the victim’s Dalit family. Following the beating, the family lodged a complaint with the Superintendent of Police’s office seeking action against the minister’s relatives.
Giving information about this, Jnani from the victim’s family said, “We were pressured to vote for BJP in the by-elections.” But we were beaten because we were not under pressure. An FIR was lodged against us at Barad police station. We reported this to the CM Helpline. Police officers at the police station then began pressuring us to withdraw the complaint. “Until we get justice, we will stay here in the bitter cold,” the victim’s family said.
“Relatives of Minister Suresh Dhakad are harassing us a lot,” said a woman from a Dalit family. “We will not leave until we get justice,” she said. Since the case is related to the Minister of State, the police have also started getting involved in the matter. Now the police are saying that they will investigate the matter.

This is not the first complaint against the relatives of Minister of State Suresh Dhakad. A relative of the former minister has also committed a murder. The brother, who is also the panchayat secretary, has also beaten up the chief executive officer.
