New Delhi: Farmers are protesting against the new agricultural laws. A meeting of farmers and central leaders was held at Vigyan Bhavan on Tuesday by the Modi government to reach an understanding with the farmers. The minister took a short break for tea after giving a ‘presentation’ on the minimum guarantee to the farmers at the meeting. At this time, the minister also urged the farmers to take for tea. Meanwhile, a farmer invited the minister to taste jilbabs and anchors at the Singhu border with him. Not only that, the farmers also rejected the minister’s request for tea. After the discussion, the meeting was unsuccessful and the farmers’ leaders went back to the protest site.

As no solution or assurance was received in this meeting with the Center, the farmers have decided to intensify their agitation. Hundreds of farmers on the Delhi border on Wednesday morning are protesting on the Noida-Delhi Chilla border dam.

Seeing the agitation of farmers, the police have closed the hills, bushes and Delhi border for traffic. At such a time, the problems of the citizens traveling from Noida to Delhi and from Delhi to Noida have increased.

In this meeting, the government proposed to form a committee for the farmers leaders. The committee will review the current law, the government said. For this, farmers should name 4-5 people from their respective organizations and form a committee. The committee will also include government representatives and agricultural experts to discuss the issue.

The meeting on Tuesday was attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Piyush Goyal. About 35 people from farmers’ organizations had participated in the meeting.
